In the morning, pull the lids open and have a good look underneath in all directions. She may have something in it (which also could have scratched the cornea). If something is there, remove it, obviously. I would then flush with some saline to clean it up a bit, and apply the triple antibiotic eye ointment 2-3 times a day. If it is still light sensitive in a day or two, or if you just want to go ahead and put a patch on it, it can help make her more comfortable. If the eye gets worse, or doesn't start showing improvement in a few days, see a vet as you don't want her to lose her vision.
