Cleo is taking her sweet time. However

Two girls that were due Friday kidded a few hours apart. One had quads. The otter one had beautiful twins. 4 does, 2 bucks so far. Still two more due tomorrow and Friday. One all black with a little chocolate. One white or cream. One white or cream with brown spots. One black with white markings and two beautiful brown ones with lots of white markings. Everyone has had at least 4 ozs of colostrum. I had to tube two of the 4 quads. The little white girl is weak. They've had BoSe and a touch of replamin plus.

I just noticed in my camera that Cleo was either peeing or is in labor. Watching closely.

Congrats on all the babies, how exciting! Did your does get BoSe pre-kidding? UTD on copper bolus? What minerals are they on? I ask because of the several weak kids you've had to tube feed.

Yes. Had BoSe a few days ago since I knew kidding was starting. Yes. Up to date on copper Bolus. (Just a few weeks ago and in September. Right now onyx free choice. Premium alfalfa hay free choice. High quality orchard grass free choice. Also have had selenium and vitamin E.

The only weak kids were a ff who I think was early and had issues because of a dead third kid and the girl that had quads today. Cleo's triplets latched right on to the bottle. Uno's twins were milking around with everyone when I found them. Two of the quads were standing when I found them. I probably could of got the two today to suck. They are sucking fine now but I had kids popping out everywhere and didn't have time to screw with it. My thought process is get this colostrum into them and go from there.

The only kid that really needed it was the boy born out of Hula the other day. Without it, he wouldn't be here today. It was touch and go for a few days. I had already prepared everyone for his passing. Now he's bouncing off the walls.

Sounds okay then. I don't like tubing unless necessary (and I have tubed a goat when necessary), because it puts the milk in the wrong part of the stomach. Read about it in cattle. It can be a lifesaver though when necessary!

Congratulations on all the pretty babies. So much variety in color already & so far more girls than boys is always good!
