Breeding question

What are my chances of a Saanen getting bred this time of year?? I have Nubians, but have a chance to buy a Saanen. I know January is about the latest month my Nubians will come into heat. I am not sure about the other breeds.

I bet if you pen her with a buck, she will get bred. My friend has saanens and has had them born as late as July.

Great! Thanks! I was hoping I could still get her bred. I have 4 does due this week. I want to get some more so I can stagger breeding to have milk year round.

I bred my Saanen last fall to a Nigerian buck. She didn't take. She went into raging heat again two days ago. I put our British Guernsey in with her and they bred off and on all morning.
