Those with milk machines - help please

I posted a thing on DGI asking some questions but I haven't gotten many replies. I bought a surge belly milker pail/lid and have an order set up through parts dept but would like to answer some questions before placing the order as it may effect what I buy, lol.

Here's a link to my post on DGI just so I do't have to type it out again. Hoping somebody can help me out a bit! http://www.dairygoatinfo.com/f22/bui...estions-34396/

TIA!

i find the facebook page goat wisdom to be quite helpful.
I have just a vacuum pump with pvc pressure tank and lines. Pulsators you can test as soon as they are hooked up I would blow them out with an air hose or compressed air. GO ahead and order the bottom gasket that goes on them, they do degrade and come in contact with the milk,
As far as cleaning, I will say ahead of time I just use the milk to give to the kids but I run dairy soap through the lines and then a sanitation rinse about 2 gallos each and let air dry, then in the evenings I clean all the little parts, I will be doing that as we will be using more for perseonal consumption.

the rest, good luck, bought mine as a whole. Cotteneyed doe and perry's milkers may help you figure the rest out.
