Question OT: For 9 days?

Has anyone else been sick to their stomach lately like they have a stomach bug, pretty much? Without puking? Just gut pain and stuff...

I've had this since Thanksgiving and it's seriously getting on my nerves. I am now just eating yogurt and taking my vitamins in an attempt to balance out the gut bacteria issue... or whatever is going on here! I don't really know if it is an actual contagious sort of thing or not!

I hear ya! While it hasn't lasted as long with me, I've had two bouts with what you're describing, the most recent as of yesterday.
Stomach is on the fritz and explosive diarrhea (TMI, I know). I did have chills and a fever that only lasted briefly, then just a general feeling of malaise.
Tea and toast has pretty much been my diet because of it.
Hope you feel better soon.

Unfortunately, the care and feeding of the critters has to be done so it's been getting done in shifts, with rests in between. Ashamed to say some birds didn't get out until 2 PM yesterday.

Yes, actually, this is my second "bout", I guess. It's really only been about 7 days. I got a two day break, per say, and then it just came on right over again. It isn't bad enough to where I take a nap (it was the first time) anymore, I say that because I am NOT a napping person.

But yeah, I've been trying to stay away from anything dairy, because that just makes it go beserk.

I wish it would go away, I mean, 3 days was fine, but when it lasts this long, it just bugs me! The only thing I have taken is a nausea prescription thing 4 days or so ago, and a benadryl. Doesn't work so for me it's just tea and Vitamin D. Glad at least someone else is with me on this... I mean, bad for you and I'm sorry, lol, but to know it might be something viral makes me feel a little better.

Some brands of multiple vitamins do that to me. Have you changed anything in your diet?

YES! Both my husband and I have had similar experience after turkey day. First, him and then about a week later me. We don't go any where except Walmart once a week, the gas station, the feed store. Could have picked up something there. We eat almost exactly the same things...but he definitely came down with these terrible stomach pains a good week before I did. Neither of us had any nausea or other sickness...just the pains. I am still experiencing it. He is done with it as far as we know! NOT happy to here it comes back! We are in Missouri and so far no one else we know has experienced this...until now!!

No dietary changes here. Had a decent night but "things" are starting up again this morning.

Hubby and I were both sick before Thanksgiving. Really just felt like we were hit by a truck and then backovered again. I went to bed at 6:00 pm on Tuesday and didn't get up until6 the next morning. Took care of my animals and back to bed until noon. I think my grandson brought it over. I told him we have to quarantine him from now on!

I'm back among the living. Actually, feel decent today. I hope this is it for a while.
To all the healthy ones out there...stay healthy!
