I had only meant to breed Ruby for fall kids, but Honeysuckle had other plans, and climbed - literally scaled a wall - into the buck shed THREE times!!!
Within one day of each other Honey gave me a single, perfect, nut-brown doeling.
Not to be outdone, Ruby one upped her with a pair of late night twins, a big, strapping dark red doe and a smaller buckling. Both mothers are doing great

I was worried about the buckling for a bit, he got stepped on at birth and was slow to stand, and doesn't have the hearty appetite of his litter and half sisters, but he has found his legs and is eating regularly.
The view of the feed tub in my living room corner is below. Sorry, a cruddy cell phone pic is the best I can do.
It's adorable when they're all sleeping. When they are awake, the baby goats want out, and the kitties are either squealing that they are being stepped on (not moving mind you, just complaining) or wanting to play "Lions and Gazelles".
