Pregnancy question

I have been curious about this for a long time and finally decided to ask. When someone wants an opinion on whether or not a doe is pregnant, they always post photos of her vulva. Why?

I believe you may be thinking of the question, "When will she kid?" As a doe gets closer & closer to kidding, there will be visible changes in her vulva; looser, puffy, maybe hanging open a little, and the inner vaginal membranes are red.

As far as my experience goes (only 7 or 8 years), there aren't any readily apparent changes in the vulva early on in a goat's pregnancy.
