Yea babies! All 4 are adorable; the blue eyed blonde is my favorite!

I bred for earlier babies this year, but still have 3 months to go!

She has a full older sister with the exact coloring, except this one has the brown spot on top of the stripe and the other doesn't. The other does have some white on the lower legs though.

Cutest little things ever!! Cannot wait! If you lived closer, I would be in your barn right now!! They are so adorable...especially that little brown or buckskin with the belt. Lucky you with all those babies to love.

We love visitors.

I think these will all be for sale as bottle kids as I already have a doeling from this cross, but I will watch them and see if any strikes my fancy.

Blackberry has a wonderful ff milk record and 2 GCH legs; the sire, Memphis, is finished, so these kids have nice potential.

The brown with belt is what is known as a belted or broken chamoisee.

The buck and chammy doeling have wattles like mom, the black one does not.

I honestly didn't even notice the wattles at first, because they are sooo fuzzy! I do like wattles though.

Well, this evening she decided the little black doeling was not hers and she wasn't going to feed it any more. This morning/early afternoon, the family was doing fine. I think it may be because I gave all the kids some extra colostrum that I had frozen from another doe and she got more of it than the others because they had already had her colostrum by the time she was born, and it is now coming out the other side. Blackberry was sniffing each one's rear end as they nursed, and kept grabbing this one's tail and shoving it away/butting at her. She is in the house in a crate now and I'm thawing some frozen milk I had saved for kids to give her. I'll bring her with me on Thanksgiving; I'm sure she'll be a hit!

That's interesting...if you bottle feed her some of mommas milk, will momma take her back?

Maybe, but probably with 2 kids nursing it would be hard to get enough milk out of her to feed this one. I also don't have much time to mess with it, as I'm leaving town over night Thankgiving. I'll just take the little girl with me. Really, the only reason I left them on was to keep the dam empty while we are gone--was planning to pull them off when we get back anyway.
