Norbert! Our new Nigie buckling....

I think I finally able to post pics!!!! I cannot believe it, a teen on another forum taught me how to do this, I am so so so grateful I am going to posting LOTS of photos...
he is 10 weeks old in 2 days, and registered:
first one is Norbert 9weeks, then with our house and 1 of our dogs in background, last is him with the herd (he weighs in a 14 lbs, yesterday, we put him on our dogs' vet's scale)...

Yeah I am a newbie and I was scared to death at bucklings being fertile at 8weeks.... (the spotted ladies are a little young 6months old)-- but I think we have some time before he will be breeding anybody(?)....

Actually I would love goat babies in the spring (way better than Fall I am seeing!)-- if he would just sleep with the herd at night he could probably do the deed while they are laying down.... but between child taking him to bed and him going into a chicken nest box at night.... doesnt look to good for that but... we will see-- maybe I will have ..surprise.. babies to post pics of!

LOL you guys I am hopeful, he is hanging with the ladies now browsing during the day and tonight I found him on top of the dog crate out with the gals instead of holing up in the coop with the hens (wrong girls, Norbert!)... so we are making progress....
