Oh, Happy Day!! Hummingbird is bred!

Last year we had the little darling with Knox in an effort to produce the perfect spotted doeling with the perfect socked on udder (stop laughing!).
Most of you know how that worked out...after months (yes, months!) we gave in and let her go to Noble (apparently he smells better) and they produced beautiful kids (2 spotted doelings). BUT this old woman wants beautiful kids out of Hummer w/Knox! I had about given up (discussed in previous thread) but last night something happened (might have been the rain) and suddenly Knox started to smell good (wet coat??). She just literally threw herself at him. Perhaps the cloudy evening obscured him enough that she thought she was seeing Noble! Anyway, here they are this morning still interested in each other - looking good for March 30th.

Congrats, looking forward to seeing their baby picture the end of March. I'm finally ready & going to start breeding a few girls now too.

You mean Noble's girls from last year...they will not be bred this year so no udder announcements. Noble's dam is KCMR Willow. She has a very nice, high, stood the test of time udder producing about 8 pounds daily. Hopefully he will pass that along to the girls....picture of Willow's udder at 6 years.
