Lute - heat a week later?

Because of a fence jumping buck, I luted all my girls a week ago Thursday. They all came into heat a day or two after the shot, like they should. For the last 3-4 days, they've all been looking like they're in heat, again. Is this normal?

Did you wait like 2 weeks after the exposure to lute?

If you interrupt their hormone cycle, it can cause further weird hormone cycling things. They are non-detrimental to them but they may not be fertile heats.

It was more like 3-4 weeks after exposure. I'm not too worried about if they're fertile or not, I don't breed til December. Was just wondering about it as it seemed kinda weird.
