Goat harness question

I bought a goat harness a while back (the deluxe driving/working harness sold by Hoeggers), thinking to use it on my Oberhasli buck when he wasn't in rut. Well, he was already in rut by the time the harness arrived, and with one thing and another I haven't had time to play with the thing. Finally butchered the buck a few weeks ago as he was an obnoxious brat and I was concerned about anyone going in the pasture when he was out there (and if he was confined to a pen, he'd tear it up). Then I thought maybe I'd see if it would fit my Jersey heifer while she's still small -- and I can't figure out how the darn thing goes on! A friend and I were trying to get it on Rosie, with the catalog open to the harness page in one hand, and we still couldn't figure it out! Is there perhaps a youtube video that shows how to put it on?

Sorry, Kathleen I cannot help you. Just wanted to say "thanks" for admitting that you cannot figure it out...we still cannot figure out to get the Hoegger super-duper "hobbles" on anything (LGD, cats, chickens, goats, of course). I feel much better.

LOL I have a hobbles too and can't for the life of me get it to stay much less hobble anything....so I use it as a collar to lead Toast with.
