Choosing a website builder

I'm sure it's been asked before, but what is a good website builder, preferably a free one. Are there advantages to ones you have to pay for? This is my winter project for marketing our meat goats.

The one that a friend showed me and I use is Weebly.com
it is super easy drag and drop and you can work on it and publish it when ready. Hope that helps.

I second weebly. (I'm a marketing professional). YOu can build a very nice site with it that is fully functional as a standard point and click, and if you have a creative streak and/or are handy with an image program - you can make a real nice one!

We use godaddy's web site tonight program. It is a little buggy but fairly easy to use.

I used webs.com for my personal site dbarjacres.webs.com (costs me $70/yr) and also for my job's website, which is still a work in progress. Easy to use and no issues in 2 yrs.

I also use Weebly.com and love it! Super easy, a drag-and drop builder. No ads shown, even in the free version.

I built the one I posted on here in 2 hours in weebly. Super easy. Best of all free. Plus I can share it on Facebook straight from the website.

Thanks for the ideas, you all have nice sites. One thing I have decided is that out of all the pictures I have stored, not many are worthy of a website. I really need to improve my skills in that department.

I ended up going with godaddy.com and am in the process of building. Hopefully it turns out!

I'm on webs - and have been for like 12 years, lol. No complaints. There are page limits but I just made more free accounts and linked them together. My rabbitry, poultry, and goats each have their own 'website'.
