Looking at a new buck, info?

Is there any way to find out info on bucks if you're not an ADGA member? I'm looking at a couple of prospects for a new buck and wanted to look up the sires. Can somebody at least tell me what +*B means after a name?

That means his daughters have earned their milk stars which means that they in standard dairy goats have milked out a 9lbs + per milking. This doesnt guarantee its a good goat but it gives you an idea that the milk is there. You can go into pedigree search and type in part of the name or only the numbers of their ADGA registration. You can look up more information under the performance programs for LA scores and the +B* merits

pedigree search link http://www.adgagenetics.org/PedigreeSearch.aspx

this is one of my does, if you hover over each name it will tell you in her grand parents if they are SG (superior genentics) GCSG (grand champion superior genentics)

if you need more information just let me know but not a whole lot of difference between member and non member information with the general basics. If you want to go get into the heavy duty stuff then its worth it to join, that and to save money

And what does the production eval on a buck mean? Isit like an average of his daughters' production evals?
