is this okay?

i was feeling padme's little scurs and they were awefully close to her skull, so i tried to clip off the ends, and i guess they weren't well attached to her head cause they broke off at the base with the slightest pressure. there was a little blood, so i sprayed with iodine spray. she didn't act hurt at all, just grateful for the attention. should i put anything else on the wounds?

Unfortunately, one of my goats has the same thing- has them for years. Every once in awhile I will find her head pink from some blood due to having head butted someone.

I don't even treat it. But if I can I do try to keep the scur pretty short as it seems worse for bleeding if the scur has become big.
