Do tennis balls and duct tape hurt horns?

I have a 5 month old doeling that's as dumb as a box of rocks. She keeps sticking her head through the fence and then can't get back out due to her horns. I've had to go out there TWICE in the last hour to free her. If I don't she makes a terrible racket (half Nubian!) until the neighbors call and tell me she's stuck.

What I'm thinking is to duct tape tennis balls to her horns so she can't stick her head out of the fence. Is this do-able?

Just her pride. It's called the stick of shame.
A broom handle taped across the top & extending out longer than your fence opening might work better than tennis balls.

I've duct taped a few sticks on. Never seemed to bother anyone. If it did, it certainly bothered them less than having me trying to force their head back through.

I have a NG doeling. She is so small her head fits in the 4X4 openings in my netting fence. She almost can get her body through. Now my question is how does she know when the fence is active?

My charger is in the garage and always pulsing even though it is not always charging. I think they hear the little shorts that must be everywhere where a charge skips from one wire to the next or something.
