Two of my spring doelings are coming home

In July I gave my friend two doelings. He had been wanting a couple of doe kids for awhile and I told him if he ever wanted to bring them back he could. I didn't want them to end up traded around here and there. So.... they are coming home today. I'm kind of happy about it too. One is Saanen X Boer and the other is Alpine/Nubian X Boer. They were both really pretty and I only gave them up because he is a good friend.
Their moms are both wonderful milkers and good mothers. I can't wait to see if they (moms and babies) remember each other! Luckily they have not been exposed to any other goats while away and they aren't travelling but fifteen miles. Updates later!

I'm guessing the moms and babies will remember each other. The ones I have dam-raised usually try to nurse the moms when I separate for months, some of them are successful, most not so much. LOL. But they will end up being well bonded, and cuddle with mom, etc.

Frosted Mini's you are correct! Mamas remembered their babies right off. Both babes tried to nurse but got a firm "No!" But both girls stayed close to mama's side for security. Here are a couple of pictures from this morning. So glad to have them home!
