New goat tower

I have had the lower part of the goat playscape for a couple of years. From the new property I purchased, I brought home the white tower to add to the structure.

The goat on the tower is Jubilee, named after Gena's last human kid. Jubilee is a BIG goat, but she doesn't look like it on the tower.

I built the lower part, but not the tall one. I have one in Texas for the goats that has five foot tall corner post legs.

I need to build something for my goats to climb on. Or I could bring a bunch of rocks from my other property and pile them up. Hmmmmmm

Rocks and concrete are good for keeping the feet worn = less trimming

If my goats see this, they'll start making Christmas lists for me.

That's great Alice! I need to build something like that for my goats too, right now they have different size wooden spools but hubby did put stairs up the the biggest one.

If your hubby comes up missing, it will end up bein' an FBI kidnapping case... and you'll get no help from the probable culprits! lol

That is really nice Alice. I'm sure my goats would enjoy that; and I'm thinking if some "concrete" slabs were the only way to get up on it, that might just help with hoof trimming.

I saw an idea once where they made ramps up and down through gates forcing the goats to walk up and down at an angle to get to food and water, the ramps had real coarse concrete on top so they wore their feet down naturally,, you could put a ramp up to this the same way and pour concrete on it,

and yes I have seen many a goat up a tree to get a better mouth full lol

I nailed shingles down on my ramps to help with the hoof trimming. It worked great until Mama-D ate them (donkey)
