test results (+ pictures)
I never really consider new goats mine.. until I have test results back (both Neg. CAE results AND.. almost as important to me NORMAL G6S status).. happy to be able to report.. ALL 3 of the boys I got from GA.. came back clean & normal...so they are here to stay (bring on the girls LOL).. they are settling in well.. Giles (formerly rupert) is in full rut and does are the best-est things in the world LOL.. the other two are still young and clue-less.
Jess took a few pictures.. First one .. Giles flirting thru the fence at the little girls and Bill E. Gumbo (my lone keeper buck) it's time to move him away from the girls and in with the 3 new boys (hence moving THEM out of isolation and into the pen next to the 2013 kids.. Bill E. Gumbo gets to know them, before the move.. Eli (the most spotted of the 3) is really starting to grow.. He and Boaz both have one bad scur that Coso is coming over, to help me get of them.. as soon as it cools off. In the picture of Eli.. it almost looks like he has horns.. due to Boaz standing behind him...
Oh.. and we are adding a new girl to the herd this weekend.. from another HT goat gal.. She got an Amberwood buck from me.. (this girl's sire.. he was also Walker's sire) her dam line should work really well with my bucks too.. She is a Price-of-the-field Royal Marcus grand daughter.. along with Copper-Hill/B.E.S.T & Bluff Top (my first wildly spotted/heavy milking doe Tessie, is almost all bluff Top).. she will be bred as soon as she comes into heat to either Edge or Giles..

also happy to report that Edge is still feeling good today.. (after his ear damage repair, yesterday)..

I'm thrilled that Chloe is going to Susie's and I'm going to hijack this thread long enough to post I do have Chloe's dam for sale. She is a 3 yr old Price-of-the-Field Royal Marcus daughter by AI, and currently dry. If anyone is interested please email me at ginger@nwark.com or if you know me FB msg me. If you send me a msg on HT I may not see it. thanks!

I was going to say that Chloe has good milking lines. Little-Bic in there too. I'm keeping my eye on her.

I've got a reservation on a buckling next spring. And a 2nd doeling reservation, if she has at least two, that will be bringing in some new genetics. We've been putting up extra hay too, because I've already told my husband that I'm going to be retaining quite a few doelings.I need a bigger barn, more pasture, and more goats.
