If you had a goat that gave straight cream...

What would you make with all that cream?

Toast doesn't give straight cream, but she sure does give half and half. I milk a quart out of her every day and half my jar is full of cream the next day!

This was breakfast this morning...just my plate. There was enough for 5 people and a bunch still left in the jar!

She's a Nigerian Dwarf. And yes, she might be for sale before the end of the year if my husband gets the job in New Zealand he was invited to apply for (yay but boo for having to sell all my animals)

Here's an updated picture of my goat family. Toast is the gold one, Cocoa is brown, Lily is the grey tri-color, Gemini is black with white, and Hercules is the mostly brown and white tri-color little guy.

And before you say anything about the nylon collars they're required to wear one with tags here in town unless they have an ear tag, and even if they had ear tags if they were to get out and didn't have my address and phone number, they would be taken to the livestock auction yard with goats with whoknowswhat diseases until I could be contacted. Much rather risk stragulation than having a CL exposed goat brought to my house.

Starting milking again in a few days and I'm super excited about that- fresh goat milk in the house again will be wonderful! I'm jealous of the cream- we used to just get a few tablespoons on top!
