Prayers Please
I am sitting in the ICU at OMC in West Plains. Ms Connie and I brought Mr Bob to the ER early this morning. Within the last 24-36 hours he had a heart attack. His blood sugar is high and white blood cell count is at extremely high. He is having trouble breathing. That is all they have told us so far. They just took Ms Connie back to ICU so she can be with him. The Doctor is waiting for more test. They are going to do a heart ultrasound asap. Thank you all.

oh no... I was spending time in ICU at OMC this time last year.. they took really good care of me..

Mr. Bob is resting quietly this morning. We are waiting for the doctor to give us an update. I could not get Ms Connie to go home. Her daughter is suppose to bring her meds and some breakfast to her and take me home so I can do chores.

Quick update. Mr Bob made it through the night. They are waiting for another specialist to get a second opinion. Ms Connie is with him now. Her daughter is going to stay here while Ms Connie and I go home and do chores.

Hoping the doctors will find where the infection is and they can start treating it.

Mr Bob was moved to the floor just a few minutes ago. He still has an infection they are not sure where it is but his heart and blood pressure are staying steady. Doctor says he may get out of here next week but then nursing home for 2 weeks.

oh no.. I'm so sorry (but the strokes afterwards really seem to happen a lot).. hope he recovers fully..

Update: Moved Mr. Bob back to the floor. Dr. Mills says if he does good the rest of today and tomorrow, he will be sent to the nursing home for rehab.

I hope rehab is fast.
