Ah, yes, Racine Kringles!! Nothing better in the whole wide world. Brilliant of you to marry into really good food AND goats! lol
OK...where is Pony? Surely she has some snarky and unfounded ridiculous comment...
Min, they are having the time of their lives...it is Ryan's 40th birthday. He is not the first of our kids to turn 40, but this idea was his and it was a great one. The girls and I are holding down the fort, grandkids and goats...we are participating vicariously.

We are originally from WI and avid Packer fans. I have been to a few games at Lambeau....my husband has been to many. Some of my brothers ashes are spread there too!

Omg. Kringles. Nothing better. When we go there, we buy them. When family comes here, they bring them.

Min and Doug - We only lived in WI for four years. We have always been St. Louis Cardinal baseball fans but never connected with any of the StL football teams (Bidwell is such a jerk and the Rams just never seemed like "home"). We had always admired and respected the Pack and after living in the great North we gladly adopted the team as our own. There is just nothing like the Packers...nothing like their fans...just a real great team. It also didn't hurt that Farve was in all his most glorious playing best when we were in WI!!!!
Used to send Kringles and fancy coffee to our folks for the holidays...they loved them!
I completely understand that your brother would want Lambeau to cradle some of his earthly remains...it is hollowed ground for sure, Min!

Meh.

I'm glad your family had a good day at Lame-o. Getting together is a good thing, even if you do have to endure a Goon Bay game.

Seriously, glad you had a good time.

And now I have a taste for a decent brat and brew from Kenosha. Is the Brat Stop still there?

You're a good sport, Pony!! Hey, here is one you will like: they have this goat that helps fans who do not have springs in their legs to be able to make the Lambeau Leap...the goat gently lifts the fan off their feet (no horns) and into the stands...yep, great times at Lambeau!!!
Kenosha...smosha. You need to go to Cedarburg to get great brats.

Go Cards. I was just there(St Louis) with my 18 year old for his birthday. We sat right on the field down the left field line. Ive been to 5 games so far this year and have tickets to see the last game of the regular season.

We always followed the ST Louis Cardiinals football team with Jim Hart, Jim Otis, Terry Metcalf. Mel gray, Pat tilley, and then Neil Lomax and OJ Anderson. O yea, Conrad Dobler and Dan Dierdorf. My brothers and sister still follow them in Arizona. Its just not the same and I cant seem to like the Rams. Honestly, I don't have a football team. I like players. The Mannings are my favorite. I think they are down to earth with good values. Of course, I like all Razorback players.

The boys are talking coming home for the baseball playoffs...two of them live on the West Coast...LOVE the Cardinals!
Jim Hart was a very decent man. He adopted twins from Children's Home Society in Brentwood (St. Louis County) where my husband and I grew up. It was mostly Bidwell who just turned us off the football team. We are very happy with the Packers. Still loyal to Mizzou (I went there)...still waiting for the good old days to come back! Long wait...
