Bad situation... New baby goat.

I don't know if y'all remember, but back in June my friend had a goat that had a bad delivery. We had to take it to a emergency visit to vet and spent about 2 hours pulling kid. The Vet said the kid was dead, but when we got her out she was alive. Kid and mother was doing well. My friends DH decided she had to many goats and gave the doe and another buckling away. She said the kid who I named Athena was weened. She will be 3 months tomorrow.

I brought it home and have it with my two goats and it has stopped crying... Is there anything else I need to do differently for it than I do for the two I have. They are kinda mean to her, but not so much that I worry they will hurt her or anything. I do make sure she gets her portion of food. Is there anything I can do to get them to accept her more?

She is cute!

Sounds like normal goat behavior. People always want goats to play nice, share etc - but that's not how it works. As long as she has acces to the hay feeder and her portion of food, she should be fine. They'll get more used to her but don't be suprised if a year from now, she's still getting slammed occassionally.

She's a real cutie! Give it some time like mygoat said, it just takes a little while. They will all settle in & before you know it they'll be snuggling together.

I make sure & put hay in a couple different places so the new goats can get hay. I clip each goat up to feed so they all get their own grain.

Did they worm her before she left, coccidiosis prevention or CD & T shots? If not I would do all of those.

What kind of Coccicios Prevention should I use? Should I put the other two on it they are 10 & 8 mths. She should out grow them. lol my 10 month is only about 2 times her size. She was wormed some time back with Cydectin. My two are due to be wormed in Oct. I have safeguard should I go ahead and give her some of that now? They are due shots then can hers wait?

I haven't been feeding hay because they are out foraging from daylight till dark. I was putting it out, but they didn't eat it.

No sense in wasting hay. Mine wont eat it either. They like laying in it.
