Pretty Excited!

I just milked my first freshener 4 days post kidding and it's already sweet. She has a single doe and I milked 3 cups off one side. This is my first freshener out of my Boer/kiko x lamancha crossings. I'm really hopeful this crossing will give me great meat kids and milk.

That's a very interesting cross. Is the doe you milking 1st generation of the cross or is the doeling she had, what cross is she.

The one I'm milking is a first generation. The doeling she had is a cross back to the buck and will probably be freezer bound. My plan is to breed back to my lamancha buck next year.
