OT: Scary news..prayers needed
Long story short for years I have suffered from what I thought to be ovarian cysts and today I ended up going to the ER because of how out of the norm this "cyst" felt. I have never been formally diagnosed with ovarian cysts mind you but it was thought that was my issue.
We did an ultrasound and discovered I don't have ovarian cysts....but I do have a mass in my right ovary about 4 1/2 to 5cm big. They believe it isn't cancer but I am seeing an OBYGN on Tuesday and hopefully we will get an MRI done. From there it might end up that I need surgery for them to do further tests if the MRI doesn't show enough.
I am just kind of overwhelmed as is my family and I don't think it has sunk in, any prayers would be much appreciated over these next few days/weeks ahead of us.

Holy moly- I am so new here I feel weird chiming in on this, but want you to know I'll be praying for you too! For correct diagnosis, for your peace and your family's peace as well. And for easy treatment of whatever it ends up being! Please keep us posted.

God our Father, I add my prayer to those of the other goat folk, and echo GreenMomma's prayer for peace in Justine's heart and family, correct diagnosis, and effective treatment plan. We'll be keeping you in our prayers as well. I had a good friend go through something similar. Hopefully things go as smoothly for you as they did for her. Her's ended up being these growths that, while benign were pretty weird, they had teeth! But it was a simple removal and she hasn't had a recurrence since, she's all clear.

Thank you so much everyone...I am feeling very overwhelmed and I don't think it really has fully sunk in. I haven't seen any images of it yet and I think when I do it will REALLY hit home. In my head I am still thinking I really do just have ovarian cysts and they just made a big mistake  . Trying to wrap my head around the whole thing is just....well it is really hard.
I guess you could say I am shell shocked because all I want is for life to just stop for a little while so I can gather my scattered thoughts and emotions and figure out just how I feel about everything.

I highly recommend that you DO visualize your cyst, even before any more scanning, etc. Visualize it drying up, shrinking, and dwindling away.
The doctors at St. Jude recommended this for my grandson when he was in treatment.
