First time milking...for my 3 yr old! (pic)

Just wanted to share. I finally got my three old interested in milking. I haven't been able to get her to even touch an udder before. But she asked to milk with me this weekend and has been watching intently. She finally asked if she could try! Her hands are so little and our easiest milker has huge teats. But she did manage to get some squirts out. Now to just train her to milk the goat with the tiny teats!

That is so adorable! And exciting that she's showing an interest now. My 6 year old wants to milk all the time and we have a nigi in milk now. I keep letting him and we keep feeding that milk to the hogs, lol. I have such high hopes that he'll get his rhythm and then he can milk the little teats from now on... then I watch it drip down his mits into the milk bowl and, well, it grosses me right out! Just keep smilin' and telling them "great job"!

That is a CUTE picture!

Adorable! The first time my 3-year-old granddaughter decided she wanted to milk, I don't know who was more surprised when she was actually able to do it - me or her. Her biggest concern was wanting to "get it in the bucket" instead of all over the two of us! LOL
