Most people around here either know nothing of it, feel its something they can't stop and/or its not a big deal anyhow, so they don't bother.
I went to pick up a registered, beautiful, tri colored ND buckling from a local guy. He picked him up and calmly commented something to the effect of 'oh, hes got a lump. Let me lance that for you'. YIKES. I was outta there! He said he has gotten rid of his entire herd twice trying to get rid of it, but its a waste of money, so he just lances them when he finds it. It's in the soil! No wonder he can't get rid of it.
The lady I sent you to does test.
By the way, TeaCup can be trusted, ask me before you go to another registered dairy. I'm not gunna name who, but I know they have CAE. Have the sale papers written up that you receive a full refund if the goat tests positive. Good luck!
