Cherry trees

We have lots of wild cherry trees in the woods past our house. our goats last year browsed through the woods with no problem. Is it just the wild cherries that are poisonous? I would like to plant some sweet/black cherries (the kind you buy in the store), but if they are poisonous I would like to plant them as far away from the goat pen as possible. Also, what do you think about planting some mulberry trees in the pasture?

Goats love mulberry trees. First things mine will bark.
Cherry fresh isn't poision. Only when the leaves are wilted.

As said, wilted cherry leaves (as in a broken branch or a felled tree) are poisonous.

How do you plan on planting trees in teh pasture without them killing them? LOL - you'll have to fence the goats away for several years if not a decade.

We have a HUGE mullberry tree out in our pasture, under which is a nice sandy loafing area for the goats. It's lovely.
