Going to have to change farm name :)
As you may know, my farm is The Quirky Goat Farm because I started with a couple of generic mini goats from a salvage lumber yard. Then, I got some goats from Emily that each had a quirk. (a self sucker, a dry yearling, and a one teated WONDERFUL goat)
Now, I'm going to have to add to the name.
The Quirky Goat and Willys Jeep Farm. Yes, I've done it again. This is a 1949 Willys Overland Jeep. It is SO freaking cool. It came with all the parts for renovating it, as the owner was distracted by a divorce and had to dispose of the vehicle.

This is the one I bought last year. It's a 1962 FC (Forward Cab) Willys Jeep.

OMG, I used to have a 1949 Willys. It looked just like yours and it was a blast to drive.

I have help. I have been VERY blessed to meet folks here in the Ozarks who are wonderful handymen (and a woman), experienced car rebuilders, house remodelers, etc.
I'm learning a lot, too.
When we went to get the Willys (an 11 hour round trip!), I told them they need to write a couple of books, at least. Car Restoration for Dummies, Rock Crawling for Dummies,....

Awesome! I love old cars/trucks/jeeps. Hubby just bought me a 1948 GMC Pick-up. Its all original, in pretty decent shape so it won't be long before we have her on the road.

Alice!!! Don't you dare take those old Willys vehicles CRAWLING!!
They're made for muddin'.
I have Willys envy, I do...
One more, and you will have a collection!
We almost bought a '49 Willys farm truck, but the guy who said he wanted to sell it really liked it a lot (i.e. it was WAY overpriced).
p.s. Make sure that you teach people the proper way to pronounce the name. WILL'-iss.

That price is way way too low.
I'm glad it's far away.

Man, I want a Willys farm truck... Oh, yes, I do...
But I do not want to drive to Tama IA for another Jeep project. We still have the Scrambler to fix.
