Lincoln, my new addition <3

I've been on the waiting list for this wether for over a year now. I'm so happy to have him with me. He's as sweet as can be.
He's being treated for coccidiosis (plus he's underweight. The lady who bred him had to go out of town because a family emergency and left her goats with a caregiver that didnt do a very good job)

He's been wormed since I got him, given free choice minerals w/copper, baking soda, salt, a little nutridrench, electrolytes, and probiotics.
He's had diarrhea for a few days but now it varies between clumpy and pretty normal.
His energy level has picked up and all he does is browse and want loved on.
I have him separated from my herd until he gets fixed up.

I just wanted to introduce him to you guys.

I would call his color a Broken Chamoisee with white poll but I'm no expert & have a baby right now I'm trying to figure out color description for so I can send in the registration papers.

He looks like a real sweetie & I love his name too.

Hmmm a goat that eats Canadian thistle... gotta have him

Does anyone know that it is one of the most loved flowers in South Africa and the national flower of Scotland?

Lincoln is doing great. He's still a sweetheart/lap goat. He's tiny for his age, but he's all heart.

o&itw: We are Scots...well, my husband is (Malcolm Dalrymple!) so, yes we know about the thistle...it is close to being the only thing we know, so thanks for asking the right question!
