Iron is iron, once it gets in the body. The difference is in the absorption of the different forms. Pig paste has the same iron in it that Red Cell does, but it's cheaper and a much smaller dose.
Well, lets math!
Dosage for anemic goats is 6cc per 100lbs of Red Cell, which is 300mg of cheleted iron per OZ. There are 30 mls per oz, so each ml of Red Cell has 10mg of iron in it.
Each 6ml dose, therefore, supplies 60mg iron. This is for a 100lb animal.
Each dose on the pig paste syringe delivers 100mg.  Personally, I'd do one dose per 100lbs or so, because not all of it ever seems to make it into the goat, lol.
Somebody check my math.
