I finally got some and would like to know how you all get it out of the tube? I don;t have a gun to fit it- thought I did but I don't.
How oftern to you give it? Do you keep on copper bolusing? Anything else to know?

I use a long wooden spoon to push it out into a smaller syringe. I give 5cc to my full size does about once a week. Sometimes it's more like 2 weeks. I still copper bolus. Some people start them off with less, but I just gave 5cc from the beginning. I give my smaller goats 2cc.

i have mineral-mondays, so its easy to remember. 5cc and at first i used the handle of my pitchfork to get a glob out. they love it and i got enough for the year. still leave out loose mineral for now, cuz i have it. they don't use it much tho. after one does' milk being so nasty last year, and clearing up with the gel, i plan to keep it up. they all look very slick and clear and healthy, too.

I *try* to do it weekly, but that's challenging to my brain. :P

I use a hammer handle to push the follower down, and I fill an old (large) ProBios doser. It holds 60 cc, and it has the knurled ring for setting the dosage.

Yes, I still have to bolus to avoid fish tails.

I was using a wooden spoon to push it out frustrating cause I would end up making a mess and my girls fight me anytime I try to stick something in their mouth. Hated having to stop to reload. So I cheated and bought the applicator gun ~LOVE it~ set the pin at 5, insert tip into mouth, click, all done, less waste, and the whole glob gets placed inside mouth and swallowed.
My goats don't seem to like it except for Shaq he tries to eat the tube guess my girls are prima donnas...
Oh 5 cc once a week to all my adult goats, if I remember (I know my bad) at least 2 to 3 times a month. I don't have a lot of goats compared to some.
When I first got Heidi she was not in good shape so first week I dosed her twice 3 days apart.

All my goats like it, thank goodness. I can even put a squirt of it between crackers, and they compete for the snack!
