had a wonderful visit with Alice

Alice was such a sweetheart today.. she brought me some CHEESE (we are still bottling 10 keeper kids and feeding the grandbaby.. so sadly, no cheese making yet.. soon.. but I have been craving goat cheese).. she brought chèvre and a lovely cheddar.. can't wait until lunch time.. (we've talked on the phone, email and such.. but this was the first time I've gotten to see her since my brain surgery)... we spent a couple hours talking goats & gardening and other fun things.. It was a great way to spend a morning (and get a day off from chores.. the kids did them all, so I could visit)...hope to get to see a lot more of her, before she flies away for the winter...

thank you so much for the cheese.. (Ed is on the phone.. he is cheddar excited!!! LOL)

susie, mo ozarks

I was really great to see Yarrow/Susie happy and healthy.

We are both heading in the direction of Permaculture and food forests, so we talked about gardening, food supply philosophy, and related topics.

Her goats are just beautiful. Seeing a couple of pens of spotty long eared kids is a delight.

Hope to see you and your family more often this summer.

Huggs,
Alice
