Thank You Pony!
Spent the day down at Pony's place in the Ozarks enjoying some great hospitality, great food, and getting to meet a lot of very nice people.
She and her husband had a great get together. We had a terrific time, as did everybody. Talked about goats, rabbits, cattle, sheep, grand kids, gardens and had a wonderful time all the way around.
After all the work you two did on organizing the whole event, y'all are probably dead tired, but we wanted you to know how much we appreciated it.
Thank you!!

You're right: We're whomped, but what a great day! FANTASTIC folks, and everyone was here to have a good time.
Thank you so much for sharing in our day, AND for the fantastic wabbits!

You & Nick are wonderful, gracious hosts, Pony! Lou and I had a lovely time; ate too much, yakked too much, you know, all that goes along with a nice get-together! Thank You for having us.

One day, Michele! Maybe you and David will be able to make it for the next one? I'll make sure you know well in advance. We're talking about doing a Homesteading Weekend, along the lines of what Muller's Lane Farm does every June.

BTW, some of you may be gratified to know that o&itw expressed concern that Nubians would be too vocal, and the gals were actually really good when we had our visitors. But oh, my! Jet was INCREDIBLY vocal until sunset.

Okay, if there's enough interest, we'll go ahead and do the Homesteading Weekend.
Wondering.... Late September? Early October?....

Late September is my suggestion. Bad heat of Summer may be over & Winter's ravages not yet begun.

Okay, THAT is a funny picture in my brain! Sheesh!
We'll do it again in September, this time as a homestead skills kind of thing.

Muwhahahahahahaha! Takes me about 20 minutes. Her back teats are small, though.
