It's snowing/raining, the wind is blowing, and since we've been a little lax on the wood stove, my fire went out. Yay... I just love trying to restart it in weather like this with wet wood. We've never burned this late.

icy cold rain all day, chick pen flooded had to move them indoors (all 25 of them)
New Doe barn inside ground is wet in some places guess we didn't build the rock base up enough so some of the bedding is getting wet because all areas are so saturated with water! Had to break open some hay for bedding GODS I hate doing that.
My Chickens won't come out of chicken house...its wet and cold and I am probable going to have to deal with critters with bronchitis or pneumonia. We have some nearby stream beds that are about to overflow and it's been raining all day, forcast is rain today and tomorrow

19* in SW Utah this morning. I was having to break ice in the water tubs, but at least we didn't get the 26' of snow that Denver did.

Well, here in N IA we have had an interesting week.
Monday we had this in the morning along with about 2" of rain.
And nearly 80 by afternoon.
Then warm for a few days.
And then this was what it looked like from my pasture out to the driveway on Friday morning!!! Sounds like it should all be gone btw today and tomorrow.

We are south of KC and have over 6 inches of snow on the ground. This happened yesterday and it is starting to melt now. This is the wettest snow we have had all winter. Sticks to every thing. Our pear and apple trees are in full bloom with snow covering the blooms. So yes, what is happening to our seasons.
