Possible Resflor problems?

I am trying to help a goat friend in need. She writes that a yearling doeling was given Resflor Gold for very bad wheezing and runny nose that has not cleared it self up. And within a minute she started pawing the ground, lays down, cries, gets up, paws some more, even paws at her mothers back. She did cough up or throw up a little grass. I am clueless as to what she should do. Does that Resflor hurt when it is given? This has been going on for more than 2 hours.

Thanks for any advice.

That is an injectable antibiotic with an anti-inflammatory agent in it. Did they gave it orally?

Any critter can have a bad reaction to an antibiotic.

I'd give the goat some benedryl.

I've always heard of LA 200 hurting, guess this one is also painful. Finding from people that have used it that IM hurts much worse than SQ, with goats throwing themselves and crying.

I'm still waiting to hear back from her as to how this morning is going.
