Thanks for the support guys.

It's mainly because of this forum, my father, and the goats (of course) that I've stayed motivated through the years. There's been ups and downs and classes that I've struggled in. Even failed my first *EVER* exam in my life last year! Still passed that class (Biochemistry) with a 2.5, and I was darned proud of that grade - worked hard in it. And, did better than many of my classmates, believe it or not... probably one of the hardest classes at MSU.
Overal GPA sits at a 3.6 as of last semester, this semester is going very well too, so I have high hopes. ANS classes tend to be fun/interesting and easy 4.0's for me, generally. Quite a rigorous curriculum and considering how BUSY I am all the time between the farm, school, family, friends/boyfriend, pretty pleased with that GPA.
Doing a research project over the summer regarding Johnes disease and the possible development of a new ELISA. Should be tons of fun, working with a great professor and experience will be absolutely invalueable, not to mention my research creds toward graduation.

Get to travel around taking samples and do (more) lab work.
The only thing I've considered recently is since working at DCPAH, I've considered becoming a DVM pathologist and practicing 'on the side'. Pathologists make a bit more money, with less investment in real estate for clinics and equipment... but keeping my options open. Hoping to specialize in small ruminants if possible (duh).
Sometimes I've considered downsizing before vet school. Life would certainly be easier. But it's hard to give it all up, too. Did that once and was miserable. At least when I'm in vet school/masters student I'll probably be way too busy to notice, lol. Not to mention I *might* not stay in-state for either of those...
