Goats in the old pig pen?

Our overtime winter has delayed spring buidling plans and I am in need of rehousing a few goats. I have about a 75'X50' pen with shelter that was used last year to raise 2 pigs. There was plenty of drainage in that pen last year as the yard slopes so it wasn't messy. The ground is still frozen at this point.

I'm thinking of temporarily putting a few goats in there today. The shelter will be cleaned, there never was any pee/poo in there (one thing I love about pigs!).

Anything I should be aware of as far as possible disease transmission to the goats? The pigs never showed any outward signs of illness.

I think it will be fine. Never heard of any disease that a pig might get that can transfer to a goat.

Our pot belly pig runs around with our goats. No problems there. So I say use it! Pigs if given a choice are very clean critters!
