Review my list

We are soon-to-be first time goat owners. We are picking up the 2 FF Mini-Nubians and a baby wether on June 4th. In terms of wormers and basic supplies, here is what I bought today:

Cydectin pour on for general deworming
Zimerterin Gold for tapeworms
Corid for coccidia prevention in the wether
Digital thermometer
Blue kote
Blood stop powder
Iodine

Is this a pretty go-to list for the goats? This is what the breeder recommended we get.

Since you are getting a male goat make sure to have Ammonium chloride (AC) on hand for prevention and treatment of Urinary Calculi (UC)

Also get activated charcoal. 1 tube for each goat. Just in case they get into anything poisonous.

Try to get some Banamine to keep on hand. This is an RX but is the go to drug for any pain, inflamation and fever. If your vet won't sell it to you or give a script to buy on line (cheaper) then try to get it from another goat or horse person. Most horse people have it on hand because it is the main drug used for colic in horses. The first bottle I got was from a horse friend...she got it for me from her vet.

Make sure you have a digital camera so you can post pictures

This is a great website for basic info...it's a little dated so double check dosages here on the forum. www.fiascofarm.com
