Dog self feeder for Alfalfa pellets
We have one of those metal type feeders that you push on to get the feed out. DH mounted it in the shelter for the does that just kidded filled it with alfalfa pellets. Anyone had issues doing something similar? The girls mastered it quickly. (With the exception of 1-- who continues to ram it to get the feed out). I found the feeder in new condition @ a thrift store for $5 so if it doesn't work out I won't be heart broken.
The girls seem to eat so much after they kid, so thought the feeder was a good way to ensure they have their choice of hay or alfalfa at all times.
