I don't know. Have you taken a temp to see if she is running a fever? I would suspect mastitis, if so Today or Pirsue, and Excenel. You may want to take a milk sample first, to send in to culture. Should have some sort of inflammation if it is mastitis though Just keep her milked out and see if she doesn't clear up. Glad you have some colostrum to start the kids on.

BIG dose of vitamin C. Do you have calcium/magnesium on hand? SHe needs a big dose of that too. Probably give the pen as well if you use antibiotics. Sounds like mastitis.

I suppose I should tape that udder so the little one that is nursing will not get to that side of the udder to milk. I'll keep in touch..thanks...

Hmm..makes me wonder how that would have happened..the old blood..possibly got hit in her udder ?? but, after realizing that she probably won't come into milk very well or won't give the kids any of her milk. I went up to a cow farmer and got a gallon of raw goats milk from them to get me through the night with the kids. all 3 new kids got about 8 oz of colostrum and now on the cows milk until I get to the store tomorrow and get kid replacer for them.

NO NO NO! Not kid replacer. Whole cow milk from the grocery store.
