Chewie is having a tragedy
I just found out that Chewie lost her 17 year old daughter. This is so heartbreaking  She posted in the Family forum
my daughter is gone

Dear Chewie..I am so sorry .. I've never been blessed with children..I know how much pain that carries. And I also know that the pain you feel right now is off the charts, a pain I cannot imagine. I've been praying for you and your family all morning. I pray you find peace..we are all here for you Chewie..whatever you need..let us help.

I keep going back to that thread hoping that it wasn't real. I hope that we can provide a place for her to have caring people to listen if she needs it. There are people on here pretty much 24/7.

It is a parents worst fear and when it does happen you feel like you cant take your next breath. You feel so torn apart that little else will matter. It is a struggle that will last for a long time to come. All anyone can do is be there. In time she will need it.

Oh my goodness. I cannot stop the tears, I can't even imagine the pain she is feeling right now. That is absolutly my worst nightmare.
I will pray and pray more for you Chewie and your family. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss, Chewie. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
As for the incredible pain that you are in...everyone handles grief in different ways, be kind to yourself and to your other loved ones. Give your darling beloved daughter to God - she was always his, just on loan to you for a little while. If you can do this, your grief will be softened. For me, the two sentences became a mantra..."Thy Kingdom Come, THY will be done". Hugs.
