Kidding season finished today. 6 bucks, 1 doe

I was looking for replacement does for 2 CAE positive does, but oh well. Good thing we were planning to butcher for ourselves, and I think we have people interested in goat meat.

Oh man! That was my year last year with lambing. I had 10 ewes (yearlings) that gave me 10 lambs. 8 rams and 2 ewe lambs. I was so devistated..and tried very hard to be happy that I had 10 heathly lambs.

ahh now I have 7 kids total (so far) 3 doelings 4 bucklings. I keep going back and forth on who I am keeping until today and pulled the CL add. The decision was really hard!! But keeping ALL the doelings because I am selfish and unreasonable...

Congratulations on the end to your kidding season. Wish you'd have had a few more doelings but sounds like your freezer is going to be full.
