Update on Bad FF breach delivery

2 days ago we had a delivery end badly. At the time, the doe was not yet in milk. Yesterday morning, she was still not in milk. Last night, she finally had a bit. This evening DD collected about 1 1/2 pints from her. We are going to freeze it. It was nice and thick and yellow collustrum. DD remarked how easy she is to milk. She didn't need a stanchion or any restraint, and her teets were longer than her dairy goats. ( she said "she was a dream" ). I would like to get as much collustrum as I can. How many days should we collect from her?

(I sure wish I could wave a magic wand and have one of these bottle kids graft to her.)

I really wish we could go back in time and help her out all over again

I only save colostrum for about three milkings, after that from what I gather quality starts going down pretty fast.
