Buck-Buckling Introductions
I *was* going to ask if were possible to house two bucks in the same pen, but I was able to use google to find the answer right here on HT. (The consensus was "probably").
So my DD would like to purchase a particular bottle-baby LaMancha buckling for her LaMancha does, but at some point I will have a pen problem. The buckling was born March 10. I would like some advice on how to integrate him with our current buck, who offically lost the "buckling" tag last October. He is gentle as a peach. During rut, I know I will likely need to make use of a temporary "bachelor pad" pen, but I want both together on browse the rest of the time for my own sanity. If we get him, he will still be on the bottle for another month or so, so I would like to keep him with the other bottle kids in the kiddy corral so I can take advantage of my one and only creep--unless you think it would be critical to get them together sooner.
