Auction prices this week

Wanted to share that we took the advice of someone here and took our 3 ish month old kids to market this week instead of keeping them till fall. We came out much further ahead this way. Some of them brought 1.90/lb. We sold 11 and just got a check for almost $600. Happy

The sale right before Easter has always brought the best prices. Wish mine had been old enough to send. That's what you get when using a yearling buck, the girls get bred late... now I'm hoping to get them sold for ffa and 4-H. Sigh. Have to deal with the public now... Lol.

Yep Easter sales are the best of the year. They want milk fed kids from 20 to 70 pounds. Congrats on the prices. That is good and all you had in them was milk.
