Have to brag on my girls...

Okay I have to brag on my two first fresheners! My FF Lady has been such a good girl to milk! Usually in my experience if I leave kids on a FF doe that makes milking them turn into a rodeo. But my sweet Lady has been a doll! She put her foot in the milk bucket maybe a handful of times (my fault...I pulled a hair) but other than that she has been a dream to milk!

Even her half sister Adele who freshened two days later (FF as well) let me milk her without hardly any fuss. I don't have to milk her right now anyways because her twins are keeping her even but when her milk comes in I will start. I am just so tickled and proud of my two girls!

Thanks for letting me brag on them for a second!

Justine

This place is for bragging! My gosh, if we just brought our sorrows here it would not be a very pleasant place. Good for you and the girls!!

Thank you . I wish I could take credit for them being so good with milking but honestly it is their temperament. They don't even fight to go on the milk stand (okay RIGHT after they kidded they did but I forgive that time) and just go right out and hop up like they have been doing it all their life.

I am excited also because my problem doe (Adele) who wasn't eating all her grain or calcium carbonate is eating is just fine. No more problems with anyone actually eating their grain with calcium carbonate on it . I am very very thankful! So to all the newbies or people who just lurk on here we actually do have good times with the goats I promise!
