Thank you all, we are so excited to have our first baby goats. My husband cried, the big softy. He then said that if we get even a hint that someone is going to eat them once we list them for sale that he wants to keep them right here.
Good Lord. Guess he pays the feed bill, so he can keep whoever he wants!

I've never heard of anyone eating a ND. Those two cuties will make someone really nice pets. Love the little black noses!

Such cute little babies even if they are boys! Hazel looks like she's an excellent mother too.

Yep, Hazel is doing a fabulous job. These boys are so little, and are beginning to jump around, even gettiing in our laps when we go in with them. They are so cute!!! We are thrilled. Thank you Kay, from Shadowfax Arabians, a fellow HT member. We bought Hazel from her.

I'm so glad they are doing good! Flying sperm babies run in the family since Hazel herself was a flying sperm baby from before I bought her mom....hope I can keep her baby sisters from following the trend!!

Yes, now it is a matter of making SURE that the little black and white buckling (who Grace named Abraham, btw), is secure enough to stay away from her. Even if she doesn't go into heat anytime soon, that doesn't stop him from trying to mount her. We locked him up seperately before she had he babies. He is still too small to be in with our LaMancha and Nubian. They would beat him up.

GoldenWood, you are so sweet. Everyone here is doing fine. My two older does will be bred this fall to a ND buck that we recently aquired. So, until they kid the following spring it looks like I will only have enough milk for my coffee!!!!!
Oh wait, that's not true, I have some ewes due in a couple of weeks; yippee for milk!! I swear I could live off of produce and dairy for the rest of my life, and be supremely content.

You might be surprised if you choose to start penning the bucklings off for 8-12 hours after they are 2 weeks old, Hazel might give you more then you think . Vivi is up to almost a quart per milking this week. Nigie milk is so sweet!!

Okay I must ask...could we get some pictures of your other two girls? If I remember correctly you have my Mia Girl's twin at your place . I can't believe Hazel was old enough to have kids already as well! It seems like just yesterday you brought these three adorable kids home and where full of questions for us . Where did the time go and when did all three of those girls start growing up!
