3 more, yeah!

Nilla had her babies today. she seemed like things were juuuust starting yesterday and this morning at 6:30 she started getting with it. the first one, a big buck was hard for her, he was big. the second one, antoher buck, was trying to come nose first. I finally had to push it back in, grab the legs and pull it out. all seemd fine, she looked like she was done, but was still kinda big, but looked like she was cleaning. surprise, I came back out over an hour later, and there was a girl too. nilla is wiped out! she had to work pretty hard.

since I did have to go in so far, do I have to give her penn? she seems ok, so if I can, I'd rather just leave her be. kids all got a good bellyful of colostrum.

Nilla is sort of a peachy color, she is half ober, half saanen, the buck is a pure saanen, from the companeros line. the ober half of nilla is tonka tails and white haven. milks like a dream, so very happy to get a doeling from her, its been reserved.
one more to go!

So cute! You can tell momma is part ober. She has the nice broad muzzle and dished face.

thank you! nilla sure had to work on this litter. I could tell she had 'feelings' of labor yesterday so I was surprised to see it take til this morning.

yeah, a whole flock of white fluff bucking thru the pen is SOOO cute! nilla and one buckling aren't white tho., they are a soft peachy color.

after selling down to just a few, its these 3 that mean so much to me! I kept my best, who are also the most loveable. I worry so much when they're stressed!

since I did have to go fishing so deep inside, do I need to give penn or just watch and see??

Congratulations! If it were me, yes. I would do a regimen of antibiotics, since you had to go in.

Congratulations! Those are some beautiful babies. If you didn't have to go in very far, grabbing the legs, etc. I don't give antibiotics.
