Leave it to my goats to fool me!!

I have 5 girls in my "labor & delivery" ward so they will be out of the nasty wet cold weather .....so this afternoon I go out to get something from the pole barn out back and what do I find......Zoey with her doeling all dried off nursing like a pro!!!: I had just been out too do chores a few hours before and NO ONE had any signs of impending labor!!

On the upside Zoey is an excellent momma. She had already passed the placenta and was acting like nothing had happened!!

Dam is Alpine sire is Boer. Her name is Peppy for her salt & pepper color and her temperament......she's a spitfire!

She's a little doll! I Love the last picture & she sure does look like a little spit fire.

Good job Zoey, we all need more like you, go to work behind our backs & get it done without us.
